Programme Objectives

The course aims to equip students to work as senior managers within a variety of organizations. In addition, and more generally, the course aims to:

  • Provide a challenging, stimulating and self-rewarding study environment.
  • Develop a range of key skills by means of opportunities provided in the study units.
  • Accommodate student needs in relation to maximising their career potential by enabling them to develop knowledge, understanding and skills in their chosen subject area.

 

Programme Structure
For Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (6 modules)
There is no particular sequence in which the units have to be taught or studied. However it would be helpful if students had taken B6011 before they study B6014.

A Postgraduate Diploma award requires 120 credits. The award may be given with Distinction for exceptional performance.

A Postgraduate Certificate award requires at least 60 credits from taught units.

Upon graduation, students will further enhance their managerial career enhancement in their chosen industry.

 

Admission Requirements
  • A degree or similar professional qualifications from a recognised university / institution.
  • Alternatively a diploma from a recognised higher institution of learning or polytechnic with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.

 

Programme Structure and Duration
Duration:

This is a 9-months programme for both the full-time and the part-time programme, comprising 3 semesters of 10 weeks each. Each semester, the maximum number of modules a student may attempt is two.

Programme Delivery: Face to face and via electronic Virtual Campus (eVC)
Method of Assessment:
  • Coursework will be used to assess knowledge and understanding in these areas.
